wishing I was here

garden tomb

or here today.

Instead I am here in Provo, getting ready for church on Sunday, not Saturday. Where is my view of the Old City from the chapel? Where are the groups of students deciding if they should go to the garden tomb, gethsemane, or the orson hyde park?

Instead I'm going to the SWKT, will stare at a brown wall during sacrament meeting, and will go to my basement apartment post-church.

One of the weirdest things about being home is people asking, "how was Jerusalem?"
How do you put into words something that changed your whole life?
I can only say, "incredible."

How frustrating.

  1. Understand this all too well. Church when you get home is bogus for a while, but it gets better. Glad you're home safe and sound!
