Good Friday

Today, the Friday before Easter, is the traditional day of the crucifixion of Christ.

I sat on my back porch and read my scriptures.
I went to Catholic mass at the Notre Dame church.

Notre Dame
Golgotha

It was a good Friday after all.

John 19
17 And he bearing his cross went forth into a place called the place of a skull, which is called in the Hebrew Golgotha:
18 Where they crucified him, and two other with him, on either side one, and Jesus in the midst.
19 And Pilate wrote a title, and put it on the cross. And the writing was, Jesus of Nazareth the King of the Jews.

Eilat

Day trip to the Red Sea? Sure, why not!

The JC took a vacation from our "vacation" and went snorkeling in Eilat.
Although the idea of breathing through a tube and swimming through hundreds of jellyfish wasn't exactly appealing to me, I did it and had so much fun.

Turns out I love the Red Sea.

Exodus 14
21 And Moses stretched out his hand over the sea; and the Lord caused the sea to go back by a strong east wind all that night, and made the sea dry land, and the waters were divided.
22 And the children of Israel went into the midst of the sea upon the dry ground: and the waters were a wall unto them on their right hand, and on their left.
