now what?

When given less than 24 hours in the Holy Land, how do you spend it?

by going to the dome of the rock and leaving a prayer in the western wall

going to marzipan bakery for one last chocolate rugelach
and stopping at the "7-11" for a magnum bar

parting with the garden tomb

coming home to make cookie dough at the ludlows

and saying goodbyes

What a blessing this semester has been. Although the experience is entirely indescribable,
let's just say my life is forever changed.
24 hours, a stack of tissues, lots of hugs, two flights, and a nearly-missed connection later,
I'm back in America.

Now what?

girls I love

Here's the thing.
I'm the youngest of five children, meaning I've never had little sisters.
Then I got to Jeru, where I became the Activity Days leader of five 8-12 year old girls.
They are brilliant, talented, spunky, and kind, and I love them lots.
I sure will miss them.
